Chocolate Workshops of Long Night of Intercultural Dialogue

The Chocolate Museum Vienna promises a sweet evening for all attendees. The museum shall open their doors for participants to find out the wonders of chocolate for themselves.

Chocolate Workshop:

The workshops will begin with a lecture on the cultural impact of chocolate, followed by a chance to make and decorate various chocolate bars to take home with you. You can also try an Aztec chocolate drink based on the original recipes. Finally, explore the museum and the history of chocolate.

There will be three workshops throughout the day, with a chance for more in the evening.

Closing Ceremony of Long Night of Intercultural Dialogue

The Closing Ceremony will feature invite-only Gala Dinner. It will be held in Palais Wertheim. At the end of the evening we will be giving out the ICDO Annual Excellence Award to Dr. Manfred Nowak, an internationally recognized Human Activist, Secretary General of the European Inter-University Center for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC), one of the former judges in the Human Rights Chamber for Bosnia and Herzegovina, former UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Director of Arts and Human Rights at the University of Vienna, co-director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights, former functionary for the Council of Europe, the EU, and other inter-governmental organizations..

The evening will feature the singing Russian ensemble Kalinka and traditional Sri Lankan dance.

There will be time to network at the end of the evening.
