Mr. Norlito Meimban – a world-renowned artist nominated by the Embassy of the Philippines to exhibit his work at the ICDO Art Exhibition “Art speaks Diversity” – kindly offered to donate 40% percent from the of sale of his paintings to ICDO project “Bridging diversity: Bosnia and Herzegovina 2020”, which aims to bring closer youth from all three ethnicities and religions in the region.
Mr. Meimban is active and widely prolific Philippine artist whose work has been recognized worldwide. Based on his work as an artist on large-scale animation productions for Walt Disney, DreamWorks and Hanna-Barbera his paintings have been a mixture between animation and painting turned into contemporary exquisite augmented reality paintings. His work is a fusion of diversity, technology and art. These figurative paintings are distinctly characterized by clean lines, expressive qualities and sensibilities of the human form which overtly show Mr. Meimban’s background in drawing and technical command in figurative art.
