The ICDO team recorded interviews with Maya communities’ members in order to help raise awareness of the challenges that the Maya people are facing. These interviews allow a closer insight into Maya traditions, everyday life, the different roles within their communities, and their plans for the future. Members of more than 20 different communities participated in the first phase of ICDO’s ‘Kalan Je La’an: Following the Maya Voice’ project.
