EARTHQUAKE/COVID-19-ZAGREB-RELIEF FUND
The whole city of Zagreb was paralyzed, and people were forced out of their homes to the open areas looking for safety during the cold and snowy weather.
The whole situation is worsened by the COVID-19 outbreak that already affected the lives of all citizens in Croatia. In the peak of the pandemic, outbreak people were forced to gather in public areas and watch how their homes crumble before their eyes.
With the trembling calming down and the dust still in the air people stood scared, confused, cold and devastated. Hospitals were evacuated, young mothers were out on the streets with their newborns looking for help.
The damages are being calculated and most of the resources are already being depleted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The recent pandemic alone already made the future for most Croatians uncertain, this disaster for sure shook Croatian people in Zagreb to its core.
