About
The art exhibition “Cultural Diversity & Inclusion” aims to explore and artistically convey ideas surrounding cultural diversity and inclusivity among all people. By showcasing diverse artworks and perspectives, the exhibition seeks to highlight the importance of embracing cultural differences and fostering inclusivity in society. Through visual representations and creative expression, artists participating in the exhibition aim to promote understanding, empathy, and appreciation for diverse cultures, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and harmonious world. The exhibition serves as a platform to spark meaningful conversations and inspire positive change, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own attitudes and behaviors towards cultural diversity and to consider ways to make it better.
The “Cultural Diversity & Inclusivity” art exhibition aims to enlighten, inspire, and empower both international and Austrian communities through a diverse range of modern, contemporary, and street art.
As part of ICDO’s seven-year anniversary celebration of #SafeguardingDiversity, the exhibition highlights the critical role cultural diversity plays worldwide. “Cultural Diversity & Inclusion” will showcase art pieces conveying powerful messages on various social topics, amplifying the voices of the oppressed and marginalized.
The exhibition will open during the Long Nights of Interculturality 2024, on September 25th, at the Yunus Emre Institute’s gallery in Vienna. Artworks for participation will be selected by a panel of professionals based on artistic
excellence and originality, emphasizing the theme of “Cultural Diversity & Inclusivity”.
Through this exhibition, ICDO aims to challenge norms, promote cultural diversity, and advocate for a sustainable environment, emphasizing peace as the ultimate solution.
