Chocolate Museum Vienna
This event was a special occasion for the representative from the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire to share some fascinating insights into cocoa production. Did you know that the majority of the native population of Ivory Coast – the biggest exporter of cocoa in the world – has never tried chocolate.
Jovana Misaljevic, founder of the Chocolate Museum in Vienna hosted a tour around the museum showing the visitors interesting installations made of chocolate, that was followed by stories about the history of chocolate before colonial times, the importance of cocoa in different cultures around the world, as well as how chocolate connects different cultures from Europe to the Americas.
Among others, ICDO was happy to host Webster Vienna Private University students, who enjoyed a cocoa and chocolate tasting.
